Class Dojo claims to improve behavior and engagement by monitoring and tracking real-time data and feedback. With one click, teachers/students can track the progress of accomplishments and behaviors and review the data to assess growth and set goals. In addition to desktop access, users can log in through an app on a smartphone or tablet. This tool is currently in Beta and they are asking for teachers to sign up now for free to test Class Dojo in their classrooms.
How might a tool like this (or others) make classroom management more efficient and effective? As you have worked to build community and establish norms with your students, what are some strategies (techie or not) that have worked for your class?
